I am so excited that you are visiting my Teacher Resource page. Thank you so much for your support! Your class can email letters to me and I will print them out OR you can send hand written letters to the address below and I will make sure a Soldier receives them.
Please check back soon for more great resources that teachers can use in their class rooms.
Letter writing guidelines:
* Have FUN. Keep your letters positive and uplifting. Our goal is to bring a smile to a deployed Soldier’s face.
(Tell them about yourself, include your age, favorite hobbies, favorite food, favorite sports team, ext..)
* Do not give your home address! You can use your school address.
*Do not seal your letters in individual envelopes.
*Take pictures of your class writing their letters, or maybe with the finished product. Be creative. Include your school name, city and state. I would love to post them on my Savannah’s Soldiers Facebook page. I am so excited to share how many schools across the country are joining in and writing!!
(Please check with your administration that your students can be photographed before sending your pictures.)
